Whether through his books, substack, or media interviews, Alex talks about many of the same themes, weaving observations across seemingly disparate domains. He seeks to remind others about the interconnectivity of all fields, all knowledge, and all human behavior.

We compartmentalize our search for knowledge into silo’d fields believing it is our best path towards omniscience, but this act of isolation instead leads us to nescience. Expanding deep expertise without working towards constant integration will lead us to a future where we will lose the very capacity to synthesize the totality of our knowledge into a coherent understanding.

Alex didn’t educate himself formally, but his deep knowledge has led to him partially breaking down these institutional barriers. As of September 2026, Alex has contributed to 19 papers that have been published through peer review, some as a first author, with two other preprints and numerous other papers at various stages of manuscript prep, or submitted and under review.

Additionally, Alex has been an invited plenary speaker at several academic conferences, given the opportunity to philosophize on the state of the research, and the appropriate directions research teams can venture in a united manner.
